NGO Lima at SPORTO conference
NGO Lima participated at SPORTO conference in Portoroz (Slovenia). SPORTO represents the biggest conference for sports marketing and sponsorship in region. S.V. – RSA Slovenija organized conference at highest level. This year (11th in a row) conference hosted most important experts at sports marketing scene(Patrick Nally, Richard Ayers, Thomas van Schaik).
In those two days we can single out several lecturers:
1. Patrick Nally (West Nally Group) who is considered as father of sports marketing. Very interesting lecture about sport as means of communication came with numerous case studies.
2. Richard Ayers had the most interesting lecture during the conference. He spoke about his beginnings and rules that he follows in his work. Founder of SevenLeague delighted participants with his funny and positive appearance. The most significant message was CONTENT = MARKETING.
3. Thomas van Schaik is Global Brand Director of Adidas company. Showed numerous examples and presented Adidas social network works. He highlighted their great work at recently World Cup in Brasil with ‘All In‘ campaign.
There were several others lecturers who were very interesting as Nikola Cavic (Nordeus) who presented gaming industry through their very popular mobile device game Top11. Darko Ivancevic (Zagrebacka pivovara) presented Leave a mark campaign, and Pauline Bohnjec presented hospitality concept through Olympic Games in London example.
There were awards for best brands in region.
At this event we met really great people and experts in field of marketing. We also presented our projects (Bikademy and marketing campaigns). This great experience will help us in our work.
SPORTO – biggest sports marketing conference in region
On the 20th and 21st of November in Portoroz is the biggest conference in region for sports marketing and sponsorship in sport.Â
11th year in a row agency S.V. – RSA Slovenija organizes this great event which grew into respectful event in this domain. Main aim is exchange of knowledge and experience of all participants in sport business and includes experts in field of marketing, communication, sport, PR and digital media. But includes every party who works in sports, sponsorship and marketing.
As every year, there are numerous famous experts such as:
1. Patrick Nally – man who merged Coca Cola with FIFA, man who is known as pioneer of sports business and there is a name – ‘father of modern sports marketing and sponsorship’.
2. Sally Hancock – leader of sponsorship project Lloyds TBS Bank during Olympic Games in London which is announced as best sponsorship activity in Great Britain in the last 20 years, and she is president of Foundation for women sport.
3. Richard Ayers – co-owner and director of 7league Agency and adviser for digital innovations of FC Manchester City.
4. Thomas van Schaik – Global Brand Director of Adidas, former media adviser of football club PSV Eindhoven, and today designs and manages numerous marketing campaigns of Adidas.
Other experts and lecturers are: Pauline Bohnec, Nikola cavic, Tomislav Pacak, Darko Ivancevic and others.
